| ALphABET OF TOLERANCE FOR children |
Members of NGO “Hajde da…” Group have developed
competent program of psychological
and educative workshops aimed to provide basic knowledge
and experience in the field of tolerance for differences, as
well as to support cooperation and mutual respect within class.
This expert program is a result of several years of implementation
of workshop method with children from Belgrade primary schools
and children from Roma Community Center “8.April”

| ALphABET OF TOLERANCE FOR teachers

| Our previous experience regarding implementation
of program “Alphabet of Tolerance” with children
helped us understand that much better effects can be achieved
if the workshops with teachers are realized first. In that way
enhanced results for children and teachers, as well, are reached.
After several revisions of “Alphabet of Tolerance”
program has been made, we began communication with teachers,
school psychologists, pedagogues, principals, in order to present
the program and its positive effects to them. |

| ALphABET OF TOLERANCE FOR YOUTH
- "BECAUSE IT’S DIFFERENT" |
A set of educational psychological workshops
was originally meant for primary school children and later it
spread to working with teachers through the “Alphabet of Tolerance
– Education and Implementation”, that had got credential of
Ministry of Education and Sports of Republic of Serbia. Based
on our previous experience in working with children and teachers
and as an answer to the need of young people to be proactive
in their communities, we’ve created a pilot program, meant for
youngsters and namet it “Because It’s Different!”.
This program offers a chance for learning and developing of
basic intercultural skills, attitudes and values.
Main themes and phenomena treated by the program are: discrimination,
prejudices, stereotypes, distribution of power, human rights
etc. Participants were 39 young people, aged 16-25. |

As an integral part of “Alphabet
of Tolerance - Education and Implementation” Project we carried
out campaign “We learn this at school, too”, manifestation "DAY
AGAINST DISCRIMINATION", publication of children’s
answers “DOWN WITH DISCRIMINATION!!!” , animated
series "IT’S SO UNFAIR!"...
