| THE ALPHABET OF TOLERANCE
FOR CHILDREN |
As a result of years of running workshops with children
from Belgrade primary schools, as well as with the children
who come to Roma Community Center “8. April”
in Mali Mokri Lug (a part of Belgrade), we’ve developed
a set of psychological and educational workshops, aimed
to acquire basic knowledge and experience in the field
of tolerance to differences, instigating cooperation and
mutual respect within the classes.

| THE ALPHABET OF TOLERANCE
- EDUCATION AND IMPLEMENTATION |
Through the direct work with children
in schools, we’ve also develpoed the program for
education of teachers: “The Alphabet of Tolerance
– Education and Implementation”.
This Program (along with another one – “The
Alphabet of Feelings – Education and Implementation”)
has got the credential
from the Ministry of Education and Sports of Republic
of Serbia, which means that it is recognized as
an adequate and high-quality additional program to regular
school curriculum.

| THE ALPHABET OF TOLERANCE
FOR THE YOUth– “BECAUSE IT’S DIFFERENT!” |
Based on the previous experience
of working with children and teachers, and having in mind
need of young people to be proactive in their local community,
we’ve created the pilot-program, meant for youngsters
and named it “Because It’s Different!”.
This Program offers an opportunity to learn and to develop
basic intercultural skills, attitudes and values. Main
topics and phenomena dealt by this Program are: discrimination,
prejudices, stereotypes, distribution of power in the
society, human rights etc. |

| THE OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDED
IN THE ALPHABET OF TOLERANCE PROGRAM |
| Within The Alphabet of Tolerance
Program, we’ve also realized campaigns, organized
an “AntiDiscrimination Day”, published a booklet
with children’s statements, called “Down With
Discrimination!”, created the Animated Series “It’s
so Unfair!”... |
