WHY? We’ve asked youngsters:
What is the concrete thing
that you want to change in your surroundings?
Maybe that would be the they (don’t) participate in
the life of their city and making decisions that are connected
to them; maybe that would be a problem in their surroundings,
that now lasts for a long time because they didn’t manage
o find people who’d share their ideas; maybe they’re
not sure how to do that in their own town...
An NGO “Hajde da...”
from Belgrade and “Forum
for Civil Action” (FORCA) from Pozega initiated
an action that will include young people from Novi Beograd
and Pozega, giving them the opportunity to find out how can
they participate in life
of their city, how can they cooperate
with local institutions, NGOs, how can they plan
and implement actions for improving young people’s
life in their community.
By this program, we want to support
the young in their efforts to contribute to development of
the cities they live in, in order to create
the society that will appreciate proactivity, initiative,
cooperation, creativity...of youngsters.
Young people, aged 17-25,
who will take part in this program, will have the opportunity
to learn on the real examples of the youth groups from other
parts of Serbia, to discuss with the representatives of local
government, acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary
for creating and implementing of small projects in local communities
and, finally, they’ll be also financially supported
in realization of their local actions.
